The Constantines are one of those bands that all of the hipster blogs love that I actually agree with. No disco/new-wave/dance-punk bullshit. No electronics. No silly, pointless experimentalism. No obvious Strokes-aping. Kind of like a fueled up Fugazi, or a mellowed out Hot Water Music. Right? Yeah.
Anyways, these guys have a new record coming out next week on Arts and Crafts.
Their video for “Hard Feelings” is pretty sweet, hopefully this leads to a great full-length record. I’ll be picking it up next week for sure.
